UPDATE: The Silver Alert for Kenneth Johnson was canceled early Friday afternoon after police say he was found safe.
ORIGINAL STORY: A Statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 63-year-old man from South Bend,
Police say Kenneth Johnson was last seen Thursday just after 1:30 p.m. wearing a blue hat, grey sweatshirt, blue jeans, tennis shoes and carrying a silver cane.
He is believed to be in danger and may require medical assistance.
Police say Johnson is 5-foot-7 and weighs 138 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
