Noah and Wade are expecting twins and must shift gears when each is offered their dream job, forcing one of them to assume the traditional stay-at-home parental role,” reads the press release. “Only which one? What gift can life give the man who has everything? The answer is drama– and tons of it! Along with shocking plot-twists, laugh-out-loud comedy, and thrilling displays of dizzying, intoxicating, heart-lifting romance.”

Original cast members Darryl Stephens, Jensen Atwood, Rodney Chester, Doug Spearman, Christian Vincent, and Wilson Cruz are all returning to their roles.

Stephens is stoked to reprise the starring role of Noah, and is amazed there’s “still this energy around this show” twenty years after its original premiere. “It’s interesting to be revisiting Noah’s Arc during this current administration,” he tells Out exclusively. “LGBTQ folks are fraught with lots of challenges at the moment, and I think that what Noah’s Arc did in 2005, I hope it is able to do again in 2025.”

Television legends Jasmine Guy (A Different World) and TC Carson (Living Single) have also joined the cast alongside reality TV stars TS Madison and Kennedy Davenport. Eva Marcille, Gregory Kieth, Jonathan Julian White, K’Hood, Mariyea, Jasun Jabbar, and Dynisty St. James round out the new cast.

Creator and executive producer Patrik-Ian Polk is amazed at the show’s enduring following and legacy. “We’ve never lost faith, and certainly the fans have never forgotten the show,” he tells Out. “That’s been the most amazing thing, to see our original fans are still around and they love the show, but then younger people just continue to discover it.”

This is actually the third Noah’s Arc movie. The first, Jumping the Broom, premiered in 2008, and the second was a pandemic-era short-film revisit to the characters titled,The ‘Rona Chronicles. Over the span of two decades, the community has continued to rally around the groundbreaking LGBTQ+ series.

“The people are still out there,” says Polk. “They still want more of this.”

Noah’s Arc: The Movie premieres June 20th on Paramount+. Watch the teaser trailer below.
