A Jersey Cash 5 player from Ocean County hit Wednesday’s $1,063,710 jackpot, New Jersey Lottery officials said.
The person bought the ticket through the Jackpocket app.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were: 8, 24, 36, 38 and 45. The XTRA was 4 and the Bullseye number was 8.
The Jersey Cash 5 prize is the fifth this year of more than $1 million.
No one won the jackpot on Thursday, pushing the top prize for Friday’s drawing to an estimated $168,000.
A $2 ticket must match all five numbers (between 1 and 45) to win the jackpot. The odds of doing so are 1,221,759 to 1.
